✅ Support ServicesSafety Marshalls will be present across the district.Taxi Marshalls will be available to assist with safe travel.Safety Haven on King Street, Wigan is open for anyone needing help or a safe space.
🚖 Travel SafelyAlways use registered taxis, preferably pre-booked.Never get into an unlicensed vehicle.
👥 Stay TogetherStick with your group and look out for each other.Do not accept drinks from strangers.If you leave a drink unattended, do not return to it.
🍹 Drink ResponsiblyYou don’t have to drink alcohol – there are plenty of alternatives available.
⚽ Event AwarenessWigan Athletic vs Bolton will bring large crowds to Wigan town centre.Haydock Racecourse will increase footfall in Ashton-in-Makerfield and across the district before and after the event.
